Miami Seaquarium

This important attraction is located in centre of the tourist area between downtown Miami and Miami Beach. Non doubt a fabulous stop where you can witness an outdoor aquarium experience. You must try and spend at least half a day there.
Miami Seaquarium is a place of inspiration, education, wildlife conservation and fun on a 38 acre tropical paradise with spectacular skyline views lies. A South Florida attraction like no other, where dolphins walk on water, killer whales fly through the air, sea lions delighting children for all ages, and endangered sea turtles and manatees find a save haven. Art Deco Historic District

The southern end of the island of Miami Beach is home to Art Deco National Historic District. Numerous hotels and apartment buildings were built in the 1930's. These buildings are soaring examples of pre-war modernism with characteristic rounded corners and geometric ornamentation. The highlight of the district is the strip of hotels along Ocean Drive between 5th and 15th street.
The streamlined buildings reflect the architecture of the 20’s and 30’s, when wealthy vacationers made Miami the resort destination of choice. Design companies, upscale furniture stores, and art galleries are the main Miami Design District's attractions.
The Art Deco Historic District in Miami is one of the few places to see truly interesting and well-preserved in the United States. The Art Deco Welcome Center provides a great introduction to the area and carries maps of notable structures. Tours of the district can be arranged through the Miami Design Preservation League. For example, the "skyscraper" shape used in the style symbolises a 20th-century view of modernity. Sunbursts and fountains are meant to be indicative of a new modern age.
South Beach

South Beach is called the American Riviera and an Art Deco Playground. Also known as SoBe is one of the more popular areas of Miami Beach and offers fine white sand, but there is not the unique in this amazing place. SoBe has boutiques, galleries and stores. Topless sunbathing is tolerated on certain designated areas of the beach. Before the TV show Miami Vice helped make the area popular. SoBe was under urban blight, with vacant buildings and a high crime rate. Today, it is considered one of the richest commercial areas on the beach. SoBe is waiting for you with its clear blue waters and its unique art deco landscape.
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens

Located on Biscayne Bay, this historic Italian Renaissance-style villa was built in 1916 by industrialist James Deering. More than 10 acres of formal gardens and fountains with frequent special events are available in this area. Furthermore Vizcaya has a gift shop, cafe, and guided tours available.
This Italianate palace is often referred as “The Hearst Castle of the East”. Deering and the painter Paul Chalfin made buying trips to Europe for important architectural components, furniture, and art including wall panels, ceilings, mantels, and tapestries. Each room conveys a particular period style, from Renaissance to Baroque, Rococo and Neoclassic.
The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens are renowned for their Italian Renaissance architecture, priceless artwork and furnishings. Attracting more than 200,000 visitors each year, Vizcaya open its doors every day except Christmas. The ticket booth is open from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The house is open until 5:00 pm and the gardens are open until 5:30 pm.
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, one of the world's pre-eminent botanical gardens, has delighted visitors since 1938 with extensive collections of rare tropical plants including palms, cycads, flowering trees, vines and a 16,000-square-foot conservatory shelters rate specimens.
Fairchild, within its 83 acres, offers an arboretum and rainforest; it houses a world renowned research facility. Non doubt leisurely strolls through the grounds provoke in the visitors an inspiration for your own little patch of paradise back home. So the facilities in this botanical garden are a small museum, gift shop and cafe.
Garden admission includes a narrated tour by tram, offered hourly and also an admission to the Conservatory and Gate House Museum without extra charge. Furthermore Fairchild is fully accessible to persons with disabilities the wheelchairs are available on a first come-first serve. Visitors can take a snack, under the sapodilla tree or observe the conservatory nursery through the café’s large windows so light lunches and cold beverages are served at the Garden Café.
